After the Red Sox reversed the curse in 2004, first time they won the World Series since 1918, Red Sox Nation was formed by the ecstatic fans, and they needed a logo. The approach here was to use the familiar sox, typeface, and colors, and create a container to highlight NATION, and a shape that would make a cool bumper sticker.
